Majid Gandomkar was born in Iran in 1973. He received the B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical power engineering from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1995 and 1997, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical power engineering from the Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Saveh, Iran, in 2005. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Islamic Azad University. His current research interests are microgrids, distribution power systems and distributed generations.
