Javad Nikoukar was born in Saveh, Iran, in 1976. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in 1998, 2000, and 2012, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He is currently an Assistance Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Islamic Azad University, Saveh, Iran. His main research interests are power system analysis, electricity market, reliability, and electric distribution in power systems. He has published more than 30 technical articles in these areas.
