Hamidreza Arasteh (Member, IEEE) was born in Zanjan, Iran, in 1988. He received the B.Sc. degree from Tabriz University, Tabriz, Iran, in 2010, the M.Sc. degree from Tarbiat Modares University (TMU), Tehran, Iran, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree from Shahid Beheshti University (SBU), Tehran, in 2017, all in electrical engineering.,He has been placed in the top 1% reviewers in Engineering on Publons’ Global Reviewer Database, from 2017 to 2018. Since 2017, he has been with the Planning and Operation group, Niroo Research Institute (NRI). He was awarded by Tabriz University and Azarbaijan Sharghi provincial governorship, in 2010. His research interests include smart grid, demand response, energy management, distributed generation, distribution systems, power system reliability and security, the Internet of Things (IoT), power system planning and operation, and electricity markets.
