Khalid Mohamed Nor (M'1981, SM'1992) was born in Sungai Pelong, Selangor, Malaysia. He received B. Eng. Degree with first class honors from the University of Liverpool, UK. He later received a M. Sc. Degree in 1978 and PhD in 1981, both from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, UK. He is currently a professor in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His research interests are in the field of electrical power system simulation and power quality.
